Global studies have shown the benefits of the activities of children in nature, in emotional, cognitive and social skills. It is noticed that in modern world, children isolate their interest in education and technology, offering them one-dimensional development in their personality and lead them to a “social autism”, where their natural capabilities remain limited. Alienated from the natural environment, even in the toddler age, they feel stress, psychosomatic and emotional problems as part of a lifestyle where their family environment is also trapped within it. Even the treatments for medical conditions of children ( ADHD, autism) geared and most methods involving nature.
In an effort to overcome this alienation , a global research and experiential program «Children and nature network” has been designed to mobilize parents, children and communities for the involvement of children in the natural environment in order to ensure balance and mental development of healthy personalities.
